Port Bicentennial Commemorative
History Book Available

The Port of Galveston bicentennial history book is now available for purchase. Filled with more than 200 rare historical images, the full-color, limited-edition book recounts the port’s 200 years of commerce from 1825 to 2025. It tells a tale of pirates, naval battles, riches, resilience and rebirth.

The Galveston Wharves published the 140-page, hardcover book in partnership with Galveston Historical Foundation to commemorate the port’s 200th anniversary.

Bicentennial Celebration
